Dear MAng:

I think USRX did the deal with COMS because they saw the end of the trail especially when fighting for x2 vs. kflex against the giant ROK. This was what caused the inventory channel to stagnate in addition to the changing of technologies and the appearance of the cheaper Intel NIC cards. It was a tough year for COMS and may get tougher yet before it is all over. We are definitely in a period of consolidation. I guess CSCO could always buy the layer 3 switch technology.

Hopefully,
John
