Jack. the power of manipulation of stocks on the internet through these "chat" sites really became evident to me, and a few others recently. It was when HVSF was making a run to 1 before this last time. The negative remarks started filling this site, and most of them were from folks that had never posted before, or rarely ever made a post. They inundated the site to such a degree that anyone interested in the HVSF stock, and stopped by to read the threads, would have only seen these recent posts. And it does have an effect, and I know considering the price of HVSF that this stock has been a golden opportunity for such manipulation. I know I'm stating the obvious. But just through I'd mention it, after also reading some articles on the "art of manipulation" at these site. IT really work, when you consider that most stock traders have computers, and rely on these sites for information or a "feeling" for the potential for the stock. But such is life. If HVSF is to survive it will be from their own efforts and not from what is provided on these sites. These are manipulated for the day trade or a little longer. But I think now many are becoming aware of the power of the MMs here, and are learning how to spot sincere posts and those that come in to "hype", either way. I've maybe hyped, but it has been sincere, in my belief that this company has a chance of moving into the pack, if not in front of it.
