That is a perfect example. Right there along with fundamental tenets like racism, Newspeak/Doublespeak, Cancel Culture, extreme censorship, ridicule, all of it ... there is the use of people (with cooperation and without) as mere props, as you say. As to convincing people to eliminate the EC, I’d have to see something that had a reasonable chance of taking power away from the Left or I’d just as soon leave it as it is. It is no coincidence that the most troubled states in the country are bright blue.
