I was cancelled today by about five women on Facebook at once. There is, as you probably know, a pretty major problem in Memphis in that the larger of two bridges (I40) over the river had to be shut down because of a dangerous crack in the load-bearing structure. (Huge traffic problem since the other bridge can't handle the traffic, requiring trucks to travel north by 50 miles or south by 50, and basically do a lot of single lane driving around Memphis. Anyway, there is this sizable crack, and these five women I've known forever were commenting on how badly we needed Biden's "infrastructure" bill. I simply pointed out that only 28% of those many billions were targeting infrastructure anyway. Damn. I guess I used a political slur or something. They all deleted me on Facebook at once. I think I may end up being able to quit Facebook after all; before long I'll just be talking to myself ;)
