It is a good design to accommodate all wrist sizes. At the time that watch was on the larger end of diameter size but now seems normal for a diver. Somewhere in the mid to late 2000s most "sport" watches were produced with humongous diameters and that has persisted. I think the UN Marine Limited is somewhere in the sweet spot.

I guess I'm big boned but I've tried some watches that are so large that I feel foolish about and are uncomfortable and look weird. And then there are brands like Richard Mille which has a love/hate reaction among many collectors but they should realize as large as some of his watches are they are usually super light and comfortable to wear. That's one high end brand I have yet to own but will some day! He's like the NASA JPL of watchmakers.
