Bill,

"One has to ask if AMD is so bad why the does Intel fear their potential to the point they need to destroy them?"

Face it. AMD did have a great potential. Intel saw that. Intel then denied AMD with future capital expansion by lower the cost and the selling price. This is called business in the late twentieth century. AMD should by now have realized themselves engaging in a hopeless war against Intel, or haven't they?

"Right now AMD only has to waste $1 for every $10-15 Intel wastes."

Intel showed $6.4B net profit last year; AMD had a net loss. Please explain what you meant.

John.

Does that explain why Intel had PROFITS of $6,945,000,000 last year (yes, that is PROFITS) and AMD had a "little less"?
