I just wanted to say thanks for participating in this thread. I have experimented with different online brokerages over the past 6 months and have ended up with Datek. The communication that your group does here goes a long way toward showing concern for customer satisfaction. Even though Datek has had its hiccups, as long as you continue this two way communication I feel it will payoff with long term dedicated customers. You are outdoing your competition in this regard. Let's have a "NO FRILLS SITE", To john and peter and those guys and dolls at Datek, now the airlines are offering "NO FRILLS FLIGHT" but Datek is apparently attempting to put all kinds of frills in its site with beautiful colors so that little kids can be attracted by this attractive nuisance. Why don't we get rid of all colors and have a "NO FRILLS SITE"? the pulldown menus are irritating. the old site has "history, portfolio, etc" all on one line so that we just hit what we want, without having to pull down a window first and in the meaning losing time and wasting our energy and emotion. Perhaps it is a good idea to pile all commands in smaller font on one line, everything out there. also, all the stuff above the quotes takes up all of the computer screen, although i have 13.3 screen. imagine those people who have smaller ones. they must have to scoll once to see a stock quote. can you reduce the space taken by the beautiful things above the quotes? thanks. is the new site in Beta testing or is it finalized? other companies usually do a beta testing first. but i must say that the new services offered in the new site are much appreciated. i am still waiting for the program that will be able to take money out of my checking account with a separate bank and also a ATM cash card. thanks.
