I can easily go with the KMT, but they couldn’t pull it all together for reasons too many, including …

- corruption
- inflation / dilution
- organization
- etc etc

By necessity of everything and requirement of survival, one’s own civilization comes first, rest secondary, a matter of course.
Really the same priorities as Israel
Even if approach different, if different.

It all be just the way the world is, that
When things go existential,
Folks congregate around the group w/ solution(s) that seems to work

Whether or not actually work, how delivered, and for how long are matters left to history. Always been that way.

As the masses are mobilized, whether for civil war or for uncivil elections, the group that does the best organization wins out

Some things just is, and overarching.

Tragic sometimes, sad other times, painful yes, bitter for sure, but is.

Coming up, on TV, shall be 2022 / 2024 USA show. We watch.

Perpetual 49 / 51 or 50% + 50,000 / 50% - 50,000 unlikely.

Should USA be able to pull up and out as if a plane doing the necessary in front of a cliff, fantastic, the world will have watched and learned something, to know IT IS possible. Otherwise self-claims of exceptionalism ring hollow.

I believe I have a sense of the timing junctures, but know that i do not know the outcome.

Yes it is a bit disconcerting (I mentioned this before) that Mr. Xi did not follow established de facto protocol and simply groom a suitable successor... .. if he goes much beyond term 2 it becomes very problematic IMO.. prez for life is a a bad idea
