None of them were real civil wars. A civil war occurs when the military splinters between the government forces and a disaffected group within that opposes the government. The Free Syrian Army, like the Nicaraguan Contras, were recruited, paid, and trained by the US to wage a war against the government forces. There were never many of them. It was at best 5% of the Syrian army which had to be supplemented with foreign fighters. As a result, the US and its allies supplied a larger paramilitary force numbering about 600,000 jihadist mercenaries over the course of the war. Almost all of the territory held by the rebels were controlled by Al Qaeda and ISIS. Everything is staged about these interventions. One can trace back the origin of the organizations involved to the US or Britain, predating the conflicts by several years.
