Re -- Many manufacturers sell two different lines of similar products with different names, different brand identities and to different customer bases.

They all use the same sales and distribution channels. There is to the best of my knowledge no single company which has two sales channels.

Consider this if a sales channel can only sell one but not the other brand product, then its a waste. If each sales channel can sell both brands then there is a conflict.

CPQ's plan in May should provide info on this.
