This attitude amongst the left really suggests a kind of schism that I have a really difficult time understanding. I know I’m sometimes guilty of blaming everything on Democrats when in fact everything isn’t ALWAYS the Democrats' fault. But I have no idea how a man with Frum's history can be so lacking of perspective that he can attribute the Pandemic to Trump. It should be readily apparent to everyone that (a) no one in government, other than those engaged in the creation of vaccine, did much of anything to move the pandemic along, and (b) between Trump and Biden, Trump did stuff and Biden didn’t. Biden has been president four months, and he did NOT do a damned thing in that time that mattered. Some would credit him with a role in distribution, but that plan was laid out before Biden got there. The one real exception was the use of large facilities for large scale vaccination and in many places that was dreadfully slow in arriving. In Houston, we were seeing drive in vaccine distribution before Biden was president, although they were infrequent because of scheduling around supply. I just think it is a lot of nonsense. I was really disappointed that my best friend from college, a really smart guy, fell for these claims. I chalked it up to his refusal to his dial up modem and four channels of TV received by antenna. (He has a cell phone because he's been extremely sick and his sister got it for him — “Why do I want a cell phone. I hate the landline I have!) Anyway, he may have a very limited choice of news outlets lol.
