actually, it would be more prudent for IOM to look to BUY businesses with its cash. there are many ways to approach this. N2K (NTIK) which allows the purchase of music over the internet and a download to your system; this method of music transfer goes without saying that increased capacity of removable storage is a prerequisite; N2K should be successful longterm. there are other ideas floating around. Suiza foods grew from $15 to over $60 on acquisitions. many businesses have done the same. IOM would better serve its longterm shareholders with timely acquisitions, little of which it has made to date.

if you have worthwhile ideas in this matter i suggest you send them to IOM. they (their engineering department) actually called me last year when i sent a suggestion that they look into a different method of storage substrate; so, they're obviously open to ideas.
