… in layman’s term, the meaning of the headline is what?

More money not needed in circulation? Because economy booming, and depositors flush?

Says we're back to banks being stressed... back to the Repo Crisis that was the bad news no one understood from December 2019 into March 2020... when suddenly everyone understood it, at least in terms of "Repo crisis bad"...

Says there is a lack of liquidity in the banks... the answer to which historically was QE... but when QE went out of style, Repo was backdoor QE that they thought would mask the problem... while allowing it to abate...

But it just kept growing instead.... so, at some point, they just quit reporting the numbers...

Perhaps also says that trading losses in derivatives might explain some of it... given the "bites" taken out of shares yesterday that clearly had nothing to do with the fundamentals of the shares... rather than the fundamentals of the shareholders and the nature of their leverage... margin calls... etc.

But, no news about that today ? (Shhh.)
