Stock Bull,

Regarding the tax implications of this acquisition for non-Ira holders...

I checked with my broker, they said "you should talk to your financial advisor." That's what I thought they were, but...

I checked with DEC Investor Relations and, after forwarding my call to First Chicago Trust of New York, they said "you should talk to your financial advisor."

I e-mailed my question to the IRS's help service. They estimated that it would be 2-1/2 working days to issue an answer; it's been five, so far.

I will post my findings when I have them.

Slightly off topic, but still an investor question for IRA holders, has anyone given much thought to Roth conversion. It seems that if you can afford to do it this year, it makes a lot of sense.
