How much, and how little, things have changed ? The technology, today, leaps and bounds beyond that concievable then... While the quality of intent is changed not at all... Yesterday, droning in the background, Youtube played something... I don't know what it was... But, a pundit was making the point... while clearly stating NOT advocating for any dictatorship... that if we had leadership that were benign dictators... the capacities that exist now... could enable incredible advances... IF the leadership were benign... and were making decisions based on "the greater good" as fostering as less conflict between individuals, by enabling and empowering them in succeeding... rather than using capacities that exist in fostering conflicts to exploit... while seeking unlimited capacity to control others... and do unto them... rather than enable and empower them... But, he pointed out... the leadership we have... who are or seek to be dictators... are NOT benign... They are instead decidedly and intentionallly malevolent... so that in the battle between good and evil... the leadership are clearly on the side of evil... The 1950's versions of black and white films presenting such... as Godzilla movies... a disservice in conditioning us to understand those sorts of challenges as originating only in "external" impositions... Rather than, as Pogo... "we have met the enemy, and he is us"... The comments were made... not about our (un) elected politicians... but about the real powers... subverting elections... concocting subversive vaccination schemes to mask sterilization and depopulation efforts... along with the routine in exploitation of other humans as objects... in the sex trade, pedophilia, the modern exploitation of people as slaves... whether as is China, or in reducing them to such through conversion of the monetary systems, making participation in the economy into a form of slavery to the state... Feel free to choose your own favorite conspiracy theory about who that refers to ? And, brace for the next effort fostering of a new round of alien invasion stories... building on the legacy of the radio broadcast of Orsen Welles reading of "The War of the Worlds"...
