The right question to ask about it might be.... What role does the existence of that being postured... play in relation to altering perception in other spheres. The assumption is... people will be afraid of aliens... as they are of "the other" in social terms terrestrial ? it is like a dial used to turn up... xenophobia... using actual xenomorphs ? My answer is... I don't care. If the border with Mexico isn't able to be made functional... why should I care about the function of the border with the rest of the universe ? But, they must not be allowed to vote... without first going through the same citizenship classes that European immigrants must.... ?
