Reality is binary... in many things.

The U.S. political system is one of those things...

Ideas, too, tend to be that way... not because complexity doesn't exist... including that in the sort that has you advocating for socialism while deying you intend the consequences it inevitably requires... ? Instead, ideas don't admit of that complexity reality imposes... as we consider them mostly "in theoretical terms"... ?

Socialism imposes particular consequences... in theory... that might be avoided or delayed in practice... for a time, only... or obviated by culural biases that have more impact than what people think they believe... that they don't really ?

People aren't really all that good at understanding that interplay between ideas and reality... and ideas and beliefs that conflict... ?

So, you can easily end up, having had more than ample proof that "QE doesn't work" they way they said it would.... and still be told "its not that it doesn't work... its only that we haven't done enough of it yet"...

Because people ARE that blind to the evidence staring them in the face... when it conflicts with what they WANT to believe is true...
