People and companies will use the exchange mechanism they can most trust. For security purposes, all countries need to have it's own home grown broad spectrum economy including a manufacturing base of some sort. MIC should know this, maybe not acting on this, but their high budget requirement will be under threat if they start losing credibility. These days, no advance in military technology is increasing anyones security, least of all for the civilian populace, and never mind average individual wealth. It's all gone hyper out of control and not secure. Mass extinction events a possibility. I think cryptos are a step forward in the right direction though, and competition is good. If fighting losing battle, just switch to winning side. factoids are often boring.
