David I beg to differ,
Micron does build modules and most PC companies only buy modules,.
Micron sells to Dell IBM Gateway etc. It does not matter whether they are
shipping modules or components the price is lower than what you indicate

Chas, you do not have to beg, just read and then try to understand. I said, as you are saying, MU DOES build Memory Modules.

Second, The prices given are from Smiths Market Watch and AICE not from me. I have absolutely no way of coming up with 16mb chip prices.
Micron.com informs the visitor to go to AICE to get an idea of current chip prices.

There is no need to be-labor the issue, as it will show up in the qtrly results
soon. They can only hide so much.

Of course not, I agree. I will say that last quarter using Smiths Market watch, I estimated MU asp at $5.10 and it came in at $4.90, so it wasn't to far off.

Good Luck Trading
