Manish; True Apple was as dumb as a bag of hammers. I agree with the Intel price policy. However the price drops were accellerated for the sole purpose of undermining AMD's net profits in the marketplace, and at this point they are well over $100 lower in price than their stated policy as of 2 years ago. That means they are $100+ times every CPU sold= that much less bottom line profits.

I am the last one to want Intel to increase prices. I am describing a market strategy supported by Intel press releases and actions.
Why has the Intel stock price fallen?? It was over $100 a few weeks ago, fell down and has rallied, but is still down 15% from the high.
Lost potential cost it the first drop from $102 to $76(or so) caused by the AMD price cuts.
