Hello all, you are a Hot Subject. 1. I just got an $89 AGP card called the Eontronics Monet. Cirrus Logic engine, 4 MB vid mem (besides your system memory, of course, which becomes relevant in AGP-land), seems to work fine. Thumbs up from Sowbug. 2. It causes me great grief that ISA sound cards are $12 and PCI sound cards are $110. I want to eliminate all ISA cards from my systems for the additional speed increase, but not if I'm going to be monetarily raped. 3. Fry's sells the 233MHz PII for less than the 233MHz P5 MMX. What the heck? Am I just seeing supply and demand at work?
