In addition:
The Social Security tax rate for 2021 is 15.3% percent on self-employment income up to $142,800, and 2.9% above that plus income tax and State tax.

That's for anyone making 165k which is peanuts these days with the fed induced and Congress facilitated inflation we are experiencing.
