TJ, with all due respect, “Borodin” 8,000 rifles was a classic trap, as to the US, at the time they were completely clueless politically and in world politics, on what they were doing then, not that they know what they do now - classic example is the Kurds war, the ISIS war and the recent Israel Gaza war. The Russian play them on their little fingers. From my university days I know that all failed students started to be "party activists" nothing has changed since. Remeber Einstein conclusion that he is unsure if the universe is infinite but he is certain human stupidity is!!! Fact is that Stalin was so pleased with “Borodin” and the rise of Mao to power that “Borodin” was executed I did not go out and defended the US and their approach to world politics, especially between WWI and WWII (the MS St. Louis affair??) and even thereafter - remember Chamberlain agreement with the Nazis? Regarding your remark to Percy Chen from Henry Wallace I am not sure if he knew what China is, may have acted differently, but it is my guess that China future was already decided and who own what, was already agreed too, and at Yalta they formally divided the world in sphere of influence, Stalin with two idiots at his right side. I was born in Romania, and trust me I still care about this country because I grew up there. Stalin sliced this country to pieces after WWII as punishment killed thousands after WWII ended, and I remember vividly when the Russian army drove through our city into Hungary to quell the revolution there in 1956 I think. And the US??? ..... did nothing as the UK or France and the same repeated itself in what was Chehoslovakia and Dubchek peaceful uprising. TJ it is clear to me from your answer that you do not understand what I intend to say about the present situation. So let it die
