Interesting. Along with non conformance of the lockdown cheque claims, I can see a lot of muddle down the road. Here, I just handed back the keys of one of my storage units I was renting for a couple of years. The young, fairly well to do owner of the units, and the smart garage business his family owns, was full of gushing compliments for me and my original deposit was returned promptly without even an inspection of the premises. Reason? I was the one of the few of many tradesmen who rent these units that paid all my rent during the Covid period. These trade guys were never short of work either, and they all have new fancy trucks with custom paint jobs. Kind of greedy an inconsiderate. It won't do um any good imho -g- Reputation goes a long way. Now, once folks start spending their doges, it's all over for the banks. Really, it will be done deal. That wont happen of course because banks and politicians would actually be on the precipice of a very high cliff with sharp pointy rocks at the bottom. But if the populace starts making plans, the message will get though to the top real quick imho. Me? I will be applying for the "Space X Gold Doge Card" as soon as it's available!
