I did catch that segment. Vanderweigh was feeling his oats.

Couple of things have been finding interesting. One is how the word, conservative, continues to be used to describe Trumpers. Total misnomer. He touched on that. But what's a better word in the ideological panoply? There ain't one because there's no ideology, no policy. He did say, though, that he expected some policy to come out of the tribalism eventually. I don't see how that happens. There's nothing intellectual about tribalism and it takes at least a modicum of that to produce policy let alone ideology.

Another oddity that surfaced during that segment, something we see more and more, is nostalgia over the likes of Paul Ryan and co. Amusing in a bent sort of way.
