I'm still not completely convinced that i-node is lying. If you believe something to be true, you're not lying when you say so. Even if the something you believe to be true came originally from someone who made it up and thus was lying. Even when the thing is demonstrably false. Even if you're smart enough to recognize that it's demonstrably false. I have a long history on SI of caution in escalating to the l-word. The only reservation I have about the above is that, due to his line of work, he surely has sufficient numeracy to realize that the more cats and dogs you throw into a theory, the more you reduce the probability that it is true. And he's just full of cats and dogs. You'd think that the numeracy of a life's work would take hold at some point. As would the number and quality of those who opt out, people like R judges and R election officials and Cheney. You'd think.
