I got the impression that his "probation" is along the lines of the judge saying "if I ever see him in my court...".

I could be wrong, though.

1. There was never any felony involved.

2. Although I am licensed in multiple states, TSBPA controls my Texas license. TSCPA is a vanity organization to which I once belonged but don't now. I would not have been either a felon or on probation.

3. I was on probation for a short while but I believe that ended well before I took the CPA exam.

See? I'm an open book, I don't mind starting truth wherever it is found.
