I am just trying to make sense of it. Possession of 5 pounds is going to have "with intent to distribute" tacked on almost everywhere. Hard to imagine that wasn't a felony. Especially back then, unless he is a lot older than he seems. Now maybe he was able to plea to a lesser charge, but what could that have been? I suppose it is possible he got a deferred adjudication with his record wiped after his probation was served. But it still seems that ethically he would have to admit to the arrest and probation on that form even if the records are sealed. That is assuming that ethics is something other than 7 letter word to him.
