Thanks for the info from Proxy Monitor. I had already read the proxy on my own and voted for the split and against the other two items for basically the same reasons as cited by PM. It's interesting to see my concerns corroborated. However, insiders own so much of the stock that it's a sure thing that all three items will pass. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon that public companies are run for the benefit of the officers and execs. However, if I spent years working on a startup and saw that it was finally beginning to bear fruit, I'm sure I'd do the same thing. I'd feel an obligation to the initial venture capitalists, but for those who bought in the secondary markets (like me and everyone here) I wouldn't feel indebted, although I'd certainly sing the right songs about deeply caring for stock holders and would have no trouble putting on an appropriate public face. Meanwhile, there's still a lot more upside potential in the stock at the current price than downside risk.
Finally, I don't think the CEO's personal life is anyone's business here.
