Yours an interesting point of departure... to consider the news today on agreement re minimum taxes to be imposed on global corporations that have been avoiding them...

Puzzling over what to make of it... but suspect the obvious excess in Twitter/Facebook/Google/Microsoft et al interferences in the U.S. elections are proving to be a tipping point in forcing nation-states to become much more aggressive... in at least making a start at reigning in the "above the law" crowd...

Globalists... losing a bit of ground...

Are the bankers next ? They've been making up their own rules for a much longer time...

Or, is it the bankers behind it... worried the idiots are out of control... and putting them at risk ?

Does also suggest that bankers, and others in related businesses, must have their own version of the "Universal Hot Crazy Matrix" in HR... only focused on the trio of "corruption" "competence" and "IQ"...

The ideal being highly competent... highly intelligent... and fully compromised... perhaps as, Bill Gates, or Eric Schimidt... Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Clinton, etc., where a little bit of crazy is good, too... as it enables them in being compromised... just, you know, not all the way out to a full on Hillary...

While for most tasks... reasonably competent, reasonably corrupt... and not smart enough to avoid being made the bag man... is perfectly suitable... your average Kenneth Lay type... Fauci...

To be avoided... the Edward Snowden / Seth Rich / Julian Assange types... whose failure to be corrupted for any but the right reasons, creates systemic risks...

And, also the sleepers... the Bernie Madoff types... smart enough, and totally corrupt... but just as likely to rob the bank as to rob the banks clients... ?
