Haim's post and your response to it resonated with me. I felt an obligation to respond with my perspective of a tolerance issue I recognized and notified my superiors as their walking paths brought them within hearing distance using very few and precise words by saying, shop tolerances. Since then I have seen things that have made me wonder if those superiors or the people they discussed the issue with used meanings for each of those two words unrelated to the context in which I delivered them for activities resembling "abuse of power for unscrupulous behavior". When I said those words I was holding a piece of paper, while working in the IT department on a pilot project, and thinking like I was still working in the Engineering department. I have no proof the two words I said were taken out of context in this manner, after they walked away from me their activities and the activities of those they spoke to were not in my line of sight. I have just seen things that make me go hmmm. Is this relevant to the things that you are dealing with? I do not know. Nor do I know if my response helped you and Haim, I had a perspective to offer and tried to deliver it within the context of the information the two of you provided. You bring up quite a few other topics as issues. I don't feel I have to comment on them. I'm not asking for more clarifications on your tolerances and probably wouldn't have if you had not responded. Thank you for responding though as I felt the need to write this post. For some years now I have had things I say and do circle around and communicate back to me via a number of different medias, more often as an acknowledgement than as an in-your-face thing. Why I don't know, it wasn't something I requested. Sometimes it is annoying, sometimes it is helpful, and I do believe that there are instances it wasn't received by me via the medium used. Do you care about this? Only you can decide if you need to write a post in response.
