Gary,

My name is spelled Keith not "Kieth" as you spelled it.

Perhaps you did not read the PS in my previous note. I resubmitted some of it while you were posting to me.

Considering you feel that your position in Yurie is irrelevant to the discussion is a sign to me not to take your comments too seriously. I am for disclosure, whether you own the stock or not.

Anyway, I don't buy the argument that because of Cisco's size they can dominate the market. ATM is an "open" standard that any vendor can build to. Unlike Fast Ethernet which has a variety of vendor specific compatibility issues
hampering its adoption as a standard.

By the way, Cisco may be its own worst enemy. Growing too big too quickly is a classic management problem that allows a fleet-of-foot company like Yurie to gobble up market share. I doubt Yurie will be taken over anytime soon. The founders own a controlling interest and will probably hold on for the long term.

Best regards.

Not many people got by the wrath of IBM. Also, have you thought about the splitrock thing? Isn't it the largest ATM network to ever be built. That is why YURI is so important, and likes the Split Rock thing so much.
