Uh, wait a second, stockid. I have no idea if $2 million of before tax profit makes sense, but let's assume it does.

But you divided the $2 million by 2 million shares outstanding. The 2 million shares is the number that has been stated on this thread as the public float. Once again, I don't know whether the 2 million public float is correct, but I would venture to guess there are far more shares outstanding (those held by insiders) than the public float. Does anybody know the total number of shares outstanding for ACCY?

Stockid -

In your projection, you failed to account for the value of the rumor that Arnold Palmer may be the godfather of Dave Marr III.

That's fairly significant value, don't you think? Also, you need to account for the speculation that "Nicklaus is bringing in his friends."

Re-do your numbers - you'll probably get to the $80 million book value for the company that someone's calculations lead to.

Shareholder sarcasm probably has value, too.

On a serious note, I was ready to buy a ton of this stock this week, if the news had come out and been anything we really didn't already know. I'll keep my nominal amount know, and will buy more at a higher price if we start getting news of the "meat" of the tourney: players, sponsors, and TV. And TV ain't gonna be ABC, CBS, or NBC, unless it's tape delayed to air on a dead weekend. No way will they pre-empt All My Children or Montel on a weekday.

>>So, according to the company (per their homepage) they estimate a projected revenue of 6,117,000 from three tournaments. After the projected expenses of 4,057,000 leaves them with a net before taxes of 2,060,000. The common shares is 2,000,000. So, not knowing how much they will be paying in taxes let's take those numbers.

2,060,000 before tax revenue
Divided by
2,000,000 common shares
equals
$1.03 cents per share before taxes.<<

Now that we know there are 16.7MM shares out, we can better calculate potential earnings.

2,060,000
divided by
16,700,000 common, assuming no further dilution
equals
.123 per share before taxes

If we figure a tax rate of 35%, then we have a figure of roughly
.08/share after taxes.
