Actually if you are talking to the company and getting information that isn't available to other shareholders, it's illegal.

I didn't say that I talked to five people. I talked to one. He knew about the financing long before it was announced. However it was laid out to him then as positive, which it obviously wasn't.

Yes, that was information they should not be talking to him or anyone else about. ILLEGAL!!!

Why do they do it? Ask them the next time they tell you something that all shareholders should be hearing.

Obviously what they're telling you is only half truths or they figure you won't understand the significance. Otherwise you would have sold as I and my contact did when we got the real details of the financing that had been leaked.

Ethical companies don't leak information with the hope of running up their stock price. They try to run the company in a manner that enhances shareholder value.

Why do you want me to verify everything I say when everything I say always winds up being the truth? I think you have something backwards here.
