DG Hyundai Electronics will not halt 16M DRAM production, just abandon one model AFX, Tuesday, February 03, 1998 at 19:35 SEOUL (AFX-ASIA) - Hyundai Electronics Ind said it will not stop production of 16M DRAM chips, but will just abandon making one low-level model that it said represents less than 1 pct of its whole output. "There is no reason to give up the well-selling 16M DRAMs and the report we will get out of the business is exaggerated," a Hyundai Electronics spokesperson said, referring to a report by the Nihon Keizai newspaper.
