That is the 64 dollar question. Even Reagan sent hundreds to jail for the S and L crises. Few want to hear this, but Obama did not even indict one person and according to Michael Lewis who wrote the "Big Short", Obama at his first meeting with the bankers said:" I am here to protect you from the public! If one goes back and examines 2008 they will see Obama had a huge army. The dems controlled both houses of congress with big majorities. Obama could have launched a war with the Republicans as he had a strong army. But he did not want a fight. No drama Obama and his no red or blue America, and he sort of disarmed us. Over the next eight years the Democrats were slaughtered as the Republicans relentlessly attacked us and we did not fight back. And the banks and rating agencies were involved in hundreds of billions of fraud. And to add insult to injury the CEO's used the stimulus to give themselves big bonuses! And all the while the "corporate" Democratic leadership kept the progressives at bay. We have been sitting on our hands for 20 years. And all that leads us to where we are today, and the progressives have been trying to warn the nation for all that time. << Why did no one go to jail for the 2008 crisis?"
