The Kitco server is in Montreal I believe.

There's a kitco.com and a kitco.ca

I would assume that the .com is US and the .ca is Canada. There's also been a couple of other names showing up when the redirection page comes up, like kitcomm.com

Claude: I have re-read the "800 Pound Gorilla" authored by Ted Butler of Gold-Eagle. gold-eagle.com
If I am understanding the article correctly, then it would appear that there is massive shorting of silver. Are various bullion banks selling "silver certificates" to various retail customers without having bullion backing? Canadian Banks are selling silver paper whence they charge annual storage fees etc. They also have the $ from the transaction at their disposal. If in fact there isn't actual bullion to support the paper. One wonders if this type of selling short is rampant in bullion selling institutions both for AG and AU. This would give credence to the suppression of prices as it would definitely be counter productive to the banks for prices to rise and have customers redeem their paper AG or AU certificates.

Is the activity we have seen in AG over the past 3 business days indicative of a breakout? If the article is correct, then we could be in for an awsome ride.

I would like to hear from others on this?

Thanks,
Ron E
