The domains cited are perhaps more properly categorized as municipalities in so far as populations are the matter, and if spread out over enormous territories endowed with a lot of resources, as in per square kilometer, so should they be not-happy, none can be happy. Take me out of freedom Hong Kong and put me down in a large domain with lots of resources, and I too can be happy. I was happy in S Africa where I knew none, did not have a car, and could not go anywhere. But I missed my usual food selection when I be awake, and reflexology whilst I napped. I would be less happy in the 9 of the 10 cited domains than in HK, because of a slew of reasons, otherwise I would have moved. The exception Switzerland is where I see its people in copious numbers in HK but do not see any HK-ers in that domain, and so I ask myself “why?”. I otherwise fancy Switzerland. Often, whenever I dialogue with taxi drivers in different domains, I listen to their take of their respective society’s complaints, and I clearly see that much of the complaints from whomever about whatever is because they had not lived in other societies. Of the legitimate complaints, and generally from folks who either had spent considerable time in other domains or are well read, the complainer failed to take the total picture into consideration.
