My Louis Erard Story, nothing ever dies on the internet.

In looking up Alain Silberstein watches imagine my surprise when I found a picture of my lone Louis Erard watch on pinterest. Of course I've never belonged to or posted there and rarely even visit other than a random link. The picture is so old that in the reflection I can tell it was taken with my first digital camera and my sunburned forehead! I often staged the watches in a Lange box.

Don't have a backside picture handy but it is a Valjoux 88 and pretty. For a long time Patek Philippe and others used Lemania and Valjoux base movements for their early perpetual calendars and chronographs. Don't quote me on this but early on Lemania and Valjoux were the main two movement makers that many fancy watchmakers of the era (mid 20th century) used to create their most complicated wristwatches.

And without further ado, taking my picture back from the internet!
