Napoleon Bonaparte was the one that gave the Jews equal rights under his rule in Europe but still negative bias towards the Jews continued even after that. It is interesting that these cultural biases are so ingrained.. Some is jealousy... Jews like many immigrant groups Chinese, (Japanese/Koreans did not come in really significant numbers to Canada), Now South Asians, especially Sikhs are here and seem to be on average more successful than average... Jews to my mind are far more complex.. ranging from uber Conservative to uber Liberal but till lean Conservative in quantity here in Canada.. Chinese of earlier waves voted mostly Liberal.. not so much anymore... I have no read on South Asians...
