Some are old and still very functional ( Pelosi ), some not ( Feinstein, Grassley ). Also, people may be living forever now days. I think tech just moves too fast and makes too many society wide changes to have people that don't really get it making decisions.

Have you seen pics of Beijing Daxing International Airport? I don't think the US could do that even if we spent a fortune and decades.
