Shep, The results we seeing in the US did not happen in a vacuum and did happen despite the negative and ignorant wishes of about 40% of the country..... Nothing happens in a vacuum, Shep. Pharmaceuticals is the 2nd most regulated industry in America. (Airlines are on top in terms of regulations.) Even with all of the regulations, though, innovation from Big Pharma is driven by profits. That is undeniable, and it's the reason why America leads the world in new drug treatments for just about everything, from cancer to hepatitis and now coronavirus vaccines. Without the profit motive, Big Pharma would cease to exist, and we'd be relying on Sputnik V or Sinovac. Which is why I think Biden is a complete dumbass for even considering giving away Pfizer's IP to other nations. Tenchusatsu
