I own a lot more UTG than I do HTD. Where UTG is primarily a stock fund, HTD is 2/3's stocks and the rest preferred stock and convertible. I wanted that extra exposure so rather than continuing to add to UTG, I spread it around by adding to HTD.

I bought more HTD today, yield 6.48%.

In looking for income, I also added to the following today:

PDO ... yld 6.52%
UTF ... yld 6.35%
CSQ .. yld 6.84%
EVG .. yld 10.31%
GOF .. yld 10.00%
DNP .. yld 7.35%

It was a nice steroid income shot to the portfolio today.
