Same idea... Chinese segments are bigger.. but the tech is so cool.. Pic I supplied does not do justice to the actual machine .. even MORE intelligent in ne'er do well QC LOL is that they're building right along the Trans Canada Highway where all the other infrastructure already exists.. it will produce a second downtown on West Island ... (which of course is western part of island of Montreal :) I look at most populace province in Canada, Ontario.. Covid Sad Sack.. Urban Transit Sad Sack.. My daughter raised in Toronto was going to Osheaga Music festival .. a few years back.. She was concerned about accommodations.. I said no problem .. just be on the Metro (subway) line .. She said but the concert may be on an island.... I said Montreal subway is a real subway .. unlike Toronto... it goes UNDER the river :) OK enough peeing on Ontario LOL The real cool thing looking at it from say a civil engineering pov is that the prefab parts can be constructed in a predictable closed environment .. providing uniformity .. no forms and pouring concrete on the go ... Quality rises... and of course more automation .. less hands needed... We should be EMBRACING the fact that the world population is aging !!!!
