Your right, Win 95 is not an option.

I don't believe that a dual processor system would enhance a regular system at all. My understanding is that NT splits the RAM between the processors. Unless you are heavy into multitasking (some day trading applications and definitely servers)you will most likely have a performance decrease (someone please correct me if I am wrong). I believe you would get better performance for about the same price if you were to spring for a PII 333 vs dual PII 266's. The PII 333 is tempting because it runs cooler. The question is when will it be available at a reasonable price?

I don't know anything about DEC machines.
