I do not dwell, but do ponder on the current successive / progressive escalations in international affairs all over, and especially between the larger states, and particularly between Team USA and China, and coming to the conclusion I once (many years ago) enunciated unequivocally, ‘go big, fast, and lots’ or something along those lines, aim for all the marbles, and that is precisely what the leaders are trying to do. All very exciting as long as no one reaches for ostensible ‘decisive’ win, which is likely not possible (to decisively win), except in the one case, by gaining absolute command of the ultimate high ground of cislunar space if such command can actually be secured, and if can, would also require securing the moon. Of course securing the ultimate high ground does not negate the consequences should MAD ever play out on good old earth, unless sensors, lasers, rail guns, all space-based can negate MAD because weapons come in many forms that do not involve rockets. Now we are talking serious money as long as escalations happen. It is possible that the odd one which does not escalate shall win the day as well as the night, and everything in between. And yet my gold decreases in value, even as other issues and stuff escalates, and so fast. What’s everyone thinking? Am watching to add short puts on DRD. Wondering if it would break 10 to the downside, meaning gold to 16xx. Feels like we are close to a crash, but of everything.
