On Friday, Enterprise Group (ET) at the company's annual shareholder meeting approved a name change without explaining why or even saying what the new name of the company will be. A few weeks ago, a private equity firm bought out the oilfield equipment rental assets of E's top publicly traded competitor Zedcor (ZDC-V) for very close to book value causing ZDC to close Friday at a new 59-month high of $0.42 per share where it is up by 180% year-to-date in 2021! As recently as September 2020, E was trading at a 3X higher share price than ZDC and back in January 2019 E was trading at a price that was 4X higher than ZDC! Insiders have been buying E like crazy!
