To me, King was the gold standard in how to deal with the problems between the races, and I believe his teachings did more to alleviate the problems between races than anything ever tried in this country.

You do? When did you start supporting reparations? I find this surprising. Or maybe you are talking about the kinder, gentler MLK who has been whitewashed...
