I have had great experiences with Vizio televisions. The last five I have purchased have been that brand.

They offer good technology and are not overpriced. In fact, I am setting up two today.

I'm partial to LG for large screen TVs. Sony is good but expensive and I've soured substantially on Samsung.

I have a bad impression of Visio, they're screens always seemed less sharp to me and they had fewer features. However, my information is a few years old and it's very possible Visio has improved substantially.

I recommend checking out Best Buy to compare the different screens for the brands you're interested in, if possible.
