i posted a planned visit to baat last week and recd questions from 8 people that i would like to update.first, i am a stockholder of size and went to baat (at my request) to assess the situation for possible increase in my position and to discuss a possible license re a minor application.
i have a chE degree and an mba and have worked for a fortune 500 chemical co in various sales and marketing mgt positions.for the past 20 yrs i have owned a number of mcd's restaurants and have a small antique auto restoration shop.until 5 years ago i raced scca sport cars and at 16 i rebuild my first engine.(this info is being provided at the request of people who sent me questions otherwise i would not bore you)
i met with joe and others for 4 hrs off and on this mon. a.m. joe was exhausted having been at baat the previous 24 hrs owning to the press release situation and our discussions were frequently interrupted by phone calls.however,i did come away with a good understanding of the diesel technology and i think it is for real and next week we will see 100 mpg+ baring mechanical issues.IMHOthere is still work to be done to finalize this technology into production but these guys have an outstanding base.
i was pleased to learn about the battery tech as it appears that there is a substantial market developing in europe/asia re combocars and the fiber optics communications application worldwide could be hugh although somewhat down the road.
the bottom line for me is that i will hold my position becouse i think both the short + long prospects look outstanding but i would liked to have visited them earlier so i could have bought more at last month's depressed prices.the license situation will not work for me in the antique market since most owners want restoration to factory standards and piston modification is not acceptable.

more later as the mkt opens soon go baat!
